Lula B’s is downtown breakfast, brunch, and a bar you will want to linger at. The point of the room is simple: a place that feels safe and unhurried, with food that tastes like somebody’s house and drinks worth a second round.
The menu is comfort food from the tables people here grew up at. Mr. B’s Samoan kitchen — pani popo, panikeke, povi masima — next to Mexican brunch and the Midwest plates that belong on a weekend. We cook what we know. If it made it onto the menu, somebody in this building has a story about it.
Stories Coffee is on the bar. Bottomless mimosas sitting by the window. If you need something — a high chair, a quieter two-top, the eggs a different way — say so. That’s what we’re for.
